Currently residing on the sunny shores of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Damo delivers his tunes straight from the studio to festivals and clubs including underground institution elsewhere in Surfers Paradise, Rattlesnake Motel where he was a resident for four years, and even the iconic Splendour In The Grass festival.
His solid bass driven grooves are no stranger to the charts, having landed tracks in the ARIA club charts, iTunes, Traxsource and Beatport charts. 'Took a Bite [Hot Sunday Records]' climbed to #44 on the ARIA Club Chart and #47 on Traxsource Tech House Chart and 'Rolling Away [SKM]' which hit #10 on Traxsource Tech House Chart. 2021 saw his iconic Aussie Summer party track 'Day For It' soar to #1 on the Traxsource Electro House Chart.
Sorta Kinda Music released its first compilation album in July 2021, 'Club Cactus vol.1' which was curated, Mixed and Mastered by Damo Cox, showcasing his skills not only as a Producer but as an Audio Engineer as well. The album reached #2 on iTunes Dance Albums: Australia, and Damo's track 'Acid Kiss' peaked at #17 in the ARIA Club Charts.
Provoking brooding, festival-ready vibes, Damo Cox’s original output has led to impressive spots on line-ups including Splendour In The Grass, Radio Metro’s Global Island Party, Wonderland and Bondstock events.
